The Column of Trajan was once constructed in 113 CE to remind the citizens of Rome about the two military victories of Roman emperor Trajan in a fighting in Dacia, which is now the modern-day Romania. The incredible carved reliefs that spiral round the column recreate the campaigns in Dacia such as Trajan himself, addressing the troops, main the army, rewarding auxiliaries and judging prisoners. The column is still standing in the coronary heart of cutting-edge Rome and is amongst the most admired monuments in the Roman world.
