Carol Danvers debuted in the pages of Marvel Comics more than 50 years ago. In that time she has won and lost gorgeous superpowers and fought alongside many of the iconic superhero teams. She’s also been known as Ms. Marvel, Binary, Warbird, and Captain Marvel. Her upcoming solo film, Captain Marvel, marks her first look in the Marvel Cinematic Universe where she is one of the most powerful superheroes—if no longer the most powerful superhero.
That’s due to the fact Captain Marvel has implausible strength, speed, and can fly. (Even in space!) Plus she can shoot energy from her fingers and possibly even travel thru time. So that’s enormously cool. How she received there is also exceedingly cool, so let’s seem at how Carol Danvers developed to emerge as Captain Marvel!
